Breaking: Lucic responds to reports he will sign with the Oilers.

Reports have surfaced claiming that multiple sources are citing Milan Lucic to Edmonton is a done deal, but those reports may have jumped the gun.

According to a report from DJ Bean of WEEI sports, Lucic himself has refuted those reports, and according to Bean when he spoke to Lucic the veteran forward called those reports "bullsh**." 

Bean would go on to say that this does not mean Lucic has ruled out the possibility of signing with the Oilers, and in fact that could still happen, but rather that the idea that he has already made a decision is simply false.

Teams can't officially agree to terms with free agents until July 1st, and it's unclear if Lucic is merely keeping up appearances or if he genuinely hasn't yet made up his mind.
