According to a report from TVA Sports the New York Rangers have traded defenseman Keith Yandle to the Florida Panthers for a draft pick and a conditional draft pick.
Added details now coming from George Richards of the Miami Herald, it appears that the condition on the second pick is whether or not Yandle re-signs with the Panthers prior to free agency on July 1st. Still no word on what either of the two picks are.
Update:
Alright according to TSN insider Darren Dreger the Rangers will receive a 6th round pick, and a conditional 4th round pick in 2017 if Yandle does sign with the Panthers which many insiders believe he will do.
There have also been three other trades today, a major move from the Leafs involving one of their first round picks, a minor trade between the Coyotes and Sharks involving multiple picks, as well as Nashville being forced to trade the best player in college hockey.
