A massive suspension comes down for a blatant cheater.

There are few things in professional sports that will ruin your reputation as quickly and as brutally as getting caught using performance enhancing drugs. It's the reason the National Hockey League has implemented such harsh penalties for any offenders caught using them.
In this case we aren't talking about a rookie, or a player trying to crack an NHL roster, rather this time it was Anaheim's veteran center Shawn Horcoff who was busted by the NHL's performance enhancing drug policy and as a result he will be suspended for the next 20 games. To make matter worse at 37 years old Horcoff could potentially face more serious consequences form the Ducks themselves if they wish to distance themselves from the player.
"This morning, we were made aware of the situation regarding Shawn Horcoff," Ducks general manager Bob Murray said as per The OC Register . "The Anaheim Ducks organization fully supports the NHL/NHLPA Performance Enhancing Substances Program.
"We will also continue to support Shawn as a player and person throughout this process. We will have no further comment at this time."
Hate to see this from a long time veteran, and it will undoubtedly damage his legacy as an NHL player.
