Horrible news for the Canadiens.
The Montreal Canadiens' season has just taken a major hit.
It appears that the injury to goaltender Carey Price is much, much more serious than was originally believed. A report from Michel Langevin of 91,9 Sports, a French language radio station in Quebec, has revealed that the injury to Price is similar to the one he suffered two years ago when he was injured in a collision with New York's Chris Kreider.
Langevin also went on to suggest that there is a very real possibility that Price will require surgery to repair the damage, something that would push his recovery time from weeks to months.

Price: selon mes sources, blessé au genou droit, comme il y a 2 ans (Kreider). Chirurgie possible. @919sport
