Claude Giroux and Sean Couturier are having the season of their career!

Philadelphia Flyers forwards Claude Giroux and Sean Couturier are both on fire since the start of the season, and they are showing no sign of slowing down! 

Giroux, 29, has 14 goals and 38 assists for 52 points in 42 games played so far! At this pace, he would finish the season with 101 points, which would be the best offensive production of his career. His best season was his 93 points year back in 2011-2012. Drafted 22nd overall by the Flyers in 2006, the Hearst, Ontario native played 698 games in the NHL so far, scoring 194 goals and adding 433 assists for a total of 627 points. He added 62 points in 63 playoff games.

Couturier, 25, was drafted eight overall by Philadelphia in 2011. He scored 23 goals and added 19 assists for 42 points in 42 games played so far this season. At this pace, he would finish the season with 44 goals and and 82 points, which would be, and by far, the best offensive production of his career. Couturier registered 39 points twice with the Flyers, in 2013-2014 and in 2015-2016. He played 458 games with the Flyers so far, scoring 93 goals and adding 140 assists for 233 points. He added four points in 19 playoff games. 

The Flyers are currently seventh in the Metropolitan division with a record of 19-15-8. They won their last three games, and they have a record of 5-4-1 in their last ten contests. They will be facing the New Jersey Devils on Saturday.
