Cracks begin to show on the Maple Leafs bench in Game 4.

Top stars on the Toronto Maple Leafs bench appear to lose their cool as the Boston Bruins take an early lead in Game 4.

At the very least fans won't be able to blame a lack of emotion if the Toronto Maple Leafs do go on to lose tonight's game, and potentially the series, to the Boston Bruins.

It appears as though cracks may be starting to show on the Maple Leafs bench in the second period of Game 4, with the organization's top stars getting heated on the bench with the Bruins taking a multi-goal lead in Game 4.

Matthews could be seen leaning over and chewing out his fellow teammates with much of his ire seemingly fired off in the direction of Mitch Marner and William Nylander. Both Marner and Nylander could be seen responding verbally and physically on the bench to the comments made by Matthews, although that doesn't necessary confirm that Matthews' comments were directed at either player.

You can see the interaction in the short clip below and judge for yourselves.
