Some sad news to report as the hockey world lost one of it's members over the week-end.
Former four time Stanley Cup Champion Angus Mortson, known to friends and teammates as as "Gus" Mortson has died at the age of 90.
Mortson will be best remembered for his time with the Maple Leafs with whom he won all four of his championships, however his thirteen year career also saw him spend time with the Detroit Red Wings and the Chicago Blackhawks.
Mortson, a former eight time NHL All-Star scored 46 goals and registered 152 assists during the course of his career.
He passed away this Saturday and his death was confirmed by the Mortson family through a statement published on the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home website.
