Goalie gives up a brutal goal when he tries to score on empty net.

Thankfully for San Jose Sharks goaltender Martin Jones, the game was already well out of reach when this took place.

During the Monday night match up between the Sharks and the Winnipeg Jets Jones attempted a rare feet for goaltenders, scoring a goal in the National Hockey League, unfortunately that attempt backfired horribly.

Jones lined up on the side of his net for the glorious shot that would put a one in the goal column next to his name on the score sheet, but the result was instead a brutal giveaway that allowed the Jets to score a thankfully meaningless goal.
