After losing to their Atlantic Division rivals Tampa Bay Lightning last night by a score of 4-3, the Detroit Red Wings (8-8-1) are scrambling to get it together.

It was a night of notable injuries, as Steven Stamkos seemed to hurt his knee and left the game. The Red Wings lost Darren Helm, who was seen holding onto his right arm/shoulder after colliding with Nesterov and falling to the ice.

Head coach Jeff Blashill said that it “looks like it’s going to be a little while” regarding Helm’s  injury:

Today, it's been reported that the 29-year-old will be out “indefinitely,” and will be undergoing an MRI later this afternoon in order to assess the severity of his ailment. With that in mind, it’s clear that the Red Wings will proceed to make a call-up from their AHL affiliate Grand Rapids Griffins.
