A total of 39 NHL players have been placed on waivers today as team’s attempt to get their opening day rosters sorted out before Wednesday.
Among the players available on the waiver wire are veterans like Sven Baertschi, Sam Gagner, Thomas Hickey, Curtis Lazar and Luke Schenn, as well as youngsters like Josh Ho-Sang and Daniel Sprong. Goaltenders Eric Comrie and Casey DeSmith should also generate some interest from teams, as well.
