Report: Jarret Stoll has been offered a PTO.

A chance to bounce back following his arrest.

Despite his struggles both on and off the ice in recent years there are still teams willing to give veteran Jarret Stoll a shot.

By all accounts Stoll had a disappointing season with both the New York Rangers as well as with the Minnesota Wild following a trade to that organization, and for many his poor showing compounded by the drug arrest he faced in Las Vegas last offseason appeared to be the end for Stoll.

Despite that Columbus Blue Jackets insider Aaron Portzline is reporting that the Blue Jackets have extended a professional try-out offer to Stoll, and while it doesn't mean he will be playing in the NHL this season, it does mean he has a shot of doing so.

The Wild have long been rumored to be looking for some kind of defense for offense trade and this may be a way of adding depth to their forward position if that trade does not materialize.
