Get used to hearing this name for a very long time: Rasmus Dahlin. The 17 year-old Swedish defenseman is already the frontrunner to be selected first overall in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft, and with his shootout moves at this year’s Newport Next Skills Competition, it’s no wonder.

Silky. Smooth. This kid is going to be something special. Scouts have already compared him to fellow countrymen Erik Karlsson, except that Dahlin may actually have more skill.
