21-year-old star forward may have been injured in the final minute of play last night.

There has been no official report of an injury just yet but there are now signs that 21-year-old Vancouver Canucks forward Bo Horvat may have been injured in the final minute of play last night.

Sportsnet insider John Shannon is reporting that Horvat is schedule to meet with medical staff today where he will undergo an MRI to check for possible damage suffered when he blocked a shot in the dying moments of Vancouver's game against the Buffalo Sabres on Monday.

Horvat is unquestionably Vancouver's best player, leading the team in goals(1), second in assists (21) and first in overall points (38), surpassing both Henrik and Daniel Sedin this season and very much looking like a big part of Vancouver's future moving forward. Any lengthy absence from him would be a devastating blow from the team, so a lot will be riding on the results of this upcoming MRI.

Stay tuned as we will be providing updates as they become available.
