“Term is the issue in talks,” reported the 6ft5 defenseman.

The Colorado Avalanches are about to lose a promising defenseman if the situation stays as it is now.

Nikita Zadorov says term is the issue in talks with the Colorado Avalanches. He would reportedly be waiting for a better offer until the end of July. He would already have a mutual agreement with CSKA reported KHL insider Igor Eronko.

Zadorov was a first round selection, 16th overall in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft by the Buffalo SabresNikita Sergeevich Zadorov is currently playing for the Colorado Avalanche.

At the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, Zadorov was traded as a central piece by the Sabres in a package that included, Mikhail GrigorenkoJ.T. Compher, and the 31st pick in the draft to the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for Ryan O’Reilly and Jamie McGinn on 26 June 2015
