It appears that Brad Hunt may get another opportunity at cracking a National Hockey League roster.

After working very hard to make an NHL roster Hunt was rewarded with 9 games as a member of the St. Louis Blues this season and they were the 9 best games of his NHL career. Hunt earned himself 1 goal and 4 assists over that stretch of play, but unfortunately with his spot on the roster largely predicated on injuries from the Blues, he was eventually placed on waivers Monday.

Today a report from TSN insider Bob McKenzie has revealed that the Nashville Predators have claimed Hunt on the waiver wire today, although how much of an opportunity he will get at the NHL level is unclear at this point. Hunt, a defenseman, is coming into the line up right around the time the Predators star defenseman P.K Subban is set to make a return to the lineup, so the timing could certainly have been better for Hunt here.
