30 NHL players vote for the location of the next expansion team, and the results are in!

The National Hockey League's media tour always produces interesting content for those of us in the media and this year has been no exception to that rule. 

One of the more interesting questions that players faced during the tour this year was regarding the future of the NHL as it pertains to NHL expansion franchises, and the answers from the players appeared to reflect those we've been hearing from fans. 

According to Kevin Allen of USA Today Sports, when NHL players where asked about where the NHL's next expansion franchise should be there was a clear winner.

Allen reports that of 31 players surveyed 21 answered in favor of Quebec City, while 9 other players picked Seattle and one player made a very surprising pick of Houston. 

Our readers have seemingly heavily favored Quebec City as well, although it has to be said that the NHL is unlikely to take this vote or the opinion of their fans into consideration next time they choose to expand to another city.
