San Jose Sharks forward Evander Kane didn’t appreciate getting rammed into the boards by Boston Bruins giant defenseman Zdeno Chara during the third period of the contest on Tuesday night.

So, he thought it’d be a good idea to drop the gloves and attack the Bruins captain from behind as he skated away.

However, Chara isn’t too old for this. The Bruins star blue liner dropped the mitts as well and once he was able to get up from Kane’s sneaky attack, he landed several rights at the back of his head.

Officials ended up breaking the two apart, however, you could tell how much the Bruins’ bench was excited to see their captain in a fight and how much respect they have for the 41-year-old.

You’ve learned your lesson, Kane. Don’t mess with Chara!

However, Chara might get a phone call from Player Safety… The hit he delivered on Kane seemed to be elbow on head and Sportsnet’s John Shannon explained that the hit has been marked by Player Safety…

To be continued…
