After a record amount of hype leading up to the 2019 National Hockey League Entry Draft the NHL's general managers were by and large extremely quiet during the draft, with almost no trades being made over the entire first round of the the draft on Frifday night. In fact the only truly significant move at the draft was a trade between the Philadelphia Flyers and the Arizona Coyotes which merely resulted in the Flyers acquiring Arizona's second round pick in order to move down a few spots in the draft.

The lack of trade activity at the draft came as a big surprise to many given just how many NHL general managers had gone on the record top state that there was an unprecedented level of trade chatter leading up to the draft. That being said though the National Hockey League has to to finalize the salary cap for the 2019 - 2020 NHL season and with general managers having no clear indication on just how much they can push the limits of their salary cap, there may be some hesitation to make big moves that could potentially land you in cap trouble when the new cap is officially announced.

I spite of the lack of trades at the draft however there remains a ton of trade chatter around the National Hockey League, and some of it surrounds one of the busiest teams of the offseason thus far, the Philadelphia Flyers. Flyers general manager Chuck Fletcher has already made several notable moves, including the aforementioned trade with Arizona at the draft as well as a trade to acquire the rights of veteran forward Kevin Hayes before signing him to a brand new long term contract offer. Fletcher has been actively reshaping the Flyers roster over the last several months including a trade that sent veteran forward Wayne Simmonds to the Nashville Predators, and now it sounds like another long time member of the Flyers organization could soon be on his way out.

A report from Brandon Sommermann of Philly Fan Life is reporting that the Flyers have now been contacted by 7 different NHL teams regarding the availability of defenseman Shayne Ghostisbehere. The power play specialist has been heavily involved in trade chatter of the past several weeks and when there is this much smoke it usually means there's at least a little fire. Although Sommermann did not reveal the names of all 7 of those teams, he did specifically mention 5 organizations as they had, according to his sources, made multiple calls to Fletcher and the Flyers regarding a trade for Ghostisbehere.

Those 5 teams are the Montreal Canadiens, Vancouver Canucks, Minnesota Wild, Toronto Maple Leafs and Winnipeg Jets, but it sounds like it will cost them a significant price to convince Feltcher to let go of his offensively gifted blue liner.

Which of these 5 do you think is most likely to land Ghostisbhere in a trade?
