5 reasons Bruins fans should pay close attention to the World Junior Championship.

There's no hockey in the National Hockey League right now by astute hockey fans are excited for what many consider to be the best hockey of the year, year in and year out, the World Junior Championship.

For some teams the stakes will be higher than others, and one of the fan bases with plenty of reasons to tune in will be that of the Boston Bruins, a team that will boast 5 of their young prospects at the tournament. 

The Bruins will have two first round draft picks in the tournament, forward Charlie McAvoy (14th overall pick in 2016) who will be representing the United States of America and defenseman Jakub Zboril (13th overall in 2015) who will be representing the Czech Republic.

They will also have two second round picks in the tournament, defensemen Ryan Lindrgren (52nd overall in 2016) and Jeremy Lauzon (52nd overall in 2015) who will be representing the United States of American and Canada respectively.

The Bruins will also have a goaltender in the tournament, third round pick in 2015 Daniel Vladar (75th overall) who will be representing the Czech Republic. 

Plenty of good reasons for fans in Boston to keep a close eye on some of the players that will likely be full-time Bruins in the near future.
