With AHL training camps getting underway, many players are expected to land on the waiver wire in the coming days, and on Wednesday, a total of six players were placed on waivers across the National Hockey League.

The Florida Panthers made the most damage, putting three players on waivers today. The team has decided to place forward Anthony Greco, defenseman Ian McCoshen and goaltender Chris Driedger on the wire.

The Winnipeg Jets have placed two forwards, Logan Shaw and Seth Griffith on the waivers. The latter is quite used to the waivers process by now, he who has been on the waiver wire three times previously before landing there again today. All three previous times, he was claimed off by another team.

As for Shaw, he was placed on waivers by the Anaheim Ducks back in 2018 and was claimed by the Montreal Canadiens. He however spent the entire last season in the American Hockey League with the San Diego Gulls and then the Manitoba Moose.

The New York Rangers have placed forward Daniel O'Reagan on waivers as well today.
