There is a major trade rumor floating out there.

As most fans will know, one of the big targets for the Boston Bruins during the offseason was acquiring a top four defenseman to bolster their blue line, something that they did not manage to do, but they may now be considering a drastic move to do so.

When recently asked about the status of the Kevin Shattenkirk trade, National Hockey League insider John Buccigross revealed that a trade involving Shattenkirk going to Boston in exchange for forward David Krejci.

This is the first we here of this rumor, and as of this time we have no idea how close this deal is to becoming a reality.
