A Captain's Wishes

When a team’s captain speaks out, everybody listens. Especially when that player happens to lead the Montreal Canadiens.

 

During his charity golf tournament held in Laval, QC this morning, Max Pacioretty took the time to comment on two of his teammates.

 

The captain told RDS.ca that he expects Nathan Beaulieu to start the year off as strong as his best games from last season, and that Sven Andrighetto has the necessary skill set and talent to succeed in the NHL after having played on the same line for a few matches.

 

He added that both players will have to show consistency and strength in order to help the team avoid making the same mistakes that led to the worst downward spiral in team history.
