A change of plan might send Fleury packing!

Will the star goalie get traded again?

The Vegas Golden Knights' plan, the one established before their inaugural season even got started, seemed quite clear: get fans in Sin City interested in hockey, get your star forwards like James Neal going to up his value on the market, and make several trades to land young prospects and picks to ensure a strong future and become a Cup contender within a few years.

Scratch that.

The Knights are doing way better than most people thought. And quite surprisingly, they have been able to do so without the first face of the franchise: goalie Marc-Andre Fleury, who has missed the past 25 games with a concussion.

The veteran netminder was activated from injured reserve by the Knights on Sunday, but his return won't save the team - they are actually doing great without him, posting a 19-9-1 record good for seventh place in the NHL.

Several teams, like the Edmonton Oilers, Florida Panthers, Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers, are in dire need of help between the pipes, and the Knights could pull off a trade to gain some help and make a push for the postseason.

No one would expect Fleury to get moved again, but Vegas has been able to win without the 33-year-old in front of the net... The plan might need to change for the Knights...

Will the star goalie get traded again? Would the Pens try to grab him back from Vegas? At what cost?

Arthur Staples of Newsday hinted at a possible trade last week... Now Fleury's name is coming up again as he returns to action. We must keep an eye on this trade chatter...
