David Desharnais is expected to get back in the action tonight after 6 games in the stands as a healthy scratch. Hopefully, the hot dogs and poutines helped him regain his confidence.

Desharnais is struggling to find his footing this year with the team. With a famished 10 points in 29 game, the small forward has a lot to do to get back in the good favors of the coach. To his defense, a knee injured suffered early this season was no picnic to get back from either.

He might benefit a lot from Claude Julien's nomination though, as the new head coach uses a style more fitted for Desharnais' game. Puck management and a good passing game are to be expected once the system is in place. Desharnais is known for his creative passing game, but he struggles often in the dump-and-chase style used by Michel Therrien

With an intense and probably physical game tonight against the Maple Leafs, David has to bring his A game so he can shine again. Many expected the Habs to trade him in the last few weeks, but apparently they decided to give David a new chance. Good luck to him tonight.
