He's not happy. At all.

Jack Eichel is an intense guy and he was built to win. These days, he doesn't get a lot of the latter.

After yet another heartbreaking loss at the hands of the Penguins, he expressed his frustration pretty clearly.

“We played aggressive in the first and then sit back and let them take it to us in the second and third. It’s the tale of every game we’ve played in the last few, so nothing changes. We blew another lead.”

With a streak of 10 games with at least one point, Eichel is carrying his share of the burden. His teammates are not.

Anders Nilsson shared the same feelings. ''“We knew they were going to come out harder, come out faster in the second period. At the same time, we stepped back a little bit.”

Clearly, the guys aren't happy. They look discouraged, even.

All's not gloomy however. Facing one of the toughest team in the league, the Sabres still managed to shoot 49 times at Murray and Fleury. They still showed a lot of skills in the first period, but the problem is clearly their consistency.

Coach Bylsma has a lot on his plate for the next few weeks.
