One forward is ecstatic by the significant changes his team’s general manager made this offseason.

Brendan Gallagher told canadiens.com that he’s looking forward to playing alongside Montreal Canadiens’ Shea Weber, Andrew Shaw (both of whom were acquired via a trade) and Alexander Radulov:

“Bringing in a guy like Weber who has won gold medals, Shaw who has two Stanley Cups and Radulov who’s had a lot of success no matter where he played… is something I’m excited about.”

While the diminutive right wing has a reputation for being one of the biggest pests in the NHL, his new teammate Shaw will certainly give him a run for his money.

Gallagher has also been itching to hit the ice:

“I think everyone’s starting to miss it.”
