The Edmonton Oilers are set to face off against the Kings in Los Angeles. In their last game, the Oilers got the win against the San Jose Sharks by a score of 5-2. As they continue their trip down South, they will look to build on their win.

After having had success earlier this week, the Oilers will ice a very similar lineup to the one that faced the Sharks tonight in L.A., a few exceptions aside.

Mikko Koskinen will get the start in front of the Oilers' net ahead of veteran Mike Smith who earned the victory in the last game.

The other change to the lineup follows some good news. D-man Adam Larsson will make his way back into the lineup after having fully recovered from the injury that had kept him on the sidelines for most of this season. He will feature on the 3rd defensive pair alongside Kris Russell.

Here is Edmonton's projected lineup for tonight's game against the Kings:

Forwards:

Leon Draisaitl - Connor McDavid - Zack Kassian

Jujhar Khaira - Ryan Nugent-Hopkins - James Neal

Joakim Nygard - Riley Sheahan - Josh Archibald

Markus Granlund - Gaetan Haas - Alex Chiasson

Defencemen:

Darnell Nurse - Ethan Bear

Oscar Klefbom - Caleb Jones

Kris Russell - Matt Benning

Goaltenders:

Mikko Koskinen

Mike Smith

Patrick Russell and Sam Gagner will be the healthy scratches. Matt Benning and Brandon Manning are still recovering from injuries.

The Los Angeles Kings are enjoying a hot run on home ice with 5 consecutive wins at the Staples Center. The Oilers may have their work cut out for them.

Great Hockey Ahead!
