AHLers McKinnon and Geertsen throw bombs in an old school hockey scrap

I love a good hockey fight. But here's the thing... the guys just don't throw down like they used to. A hockey fight these days usually consists of two guys grabbing on to each other, spinning around a few times, missing every punch they throw and then falling on top of each other in a heap. Don't get me wrong, I still love fighting but fighting just ain't what it used to be.

It takes two minor-leagues like Ian McKinnon and Mason Geertsen to show the big boys how it's done. Check out these two AHLers throwing things back to the 1980s with a classic hockey tilt where both boys take their licks:
