We knew he was going to be good, real good.

But making the jump from the Ontario Hockey League straight to the NHL is a big step for any rookie player. Yet some young players just seem to make that transition easier than others. It's the case of Toronto Maple Leafs young phenom, Mitch Marner, who made a big splash in his first season in the Queen City.

In his first campaign in The Show, the speedy 170-pounds right winger scored 19 goals and had 61 points in 77 games.

Not injured, he might've had as many if not more points than the league's rookie player of the year, Auston Matthews. The Calder Trophy winner finished his first season with 69 points in 82 games.

The question is: how many points will Marner collect in the upcoming season, some say the second year in the NHL is always the toughest, therefore he'll collect less points.

Others think that a healthy Marner may be a point per game type of player. What's your take?
