All-Star forward traded in multi-player, 3 team trade.
Three teams involved in this trade.

It looks like we have a 4 player trade that involves three different teams.
So for the first part of this trade the Montreal Canadiens have traded defensive prospect Jarred Tinordi to the Arizona Coyotes in exchange for everyone's favorite All-Star John Scott as well as defenseman Stefan Elliott.
However Montreal would not hang on to Elliott, immediately flipping him over to the Nashville Predators in exchange for defenseman Victor Bartley. It's important to note that this second part of the trade has yet to be finalized, although hockey insider Bob McKenzie has reported the trade call is pending.
We will update more details as they are made availble.

Pending trade call, NSH sending Victor Bartley to MTL for Stefan Elliott. But not a done deal yet.

UPDATE: TSN's Darren Dreger is now reporting that Nashville and Arizona have swapped Elliott and Bartley and Bartley was dealt to Montreal with Scott in exchnage for Tinordi and an unknown minor league player.
UPDATE: That minor league player has been identified as Stefan Fournier.
Bizarre change. So, Nashville trades Bartley to Ariz for Elliott then Bartley and Scott moved to Mtl for Tinordi and a minor leaguer.
