All-Time Greatest Lineup

It’s not secret that one of the Original Six teams has had its fair share of legendary players at all positions throughout its long and winding history. The Detroit Red Wings are looking to make the “Farewell Season At the Joe” their 26th consecutive appearance in the Stanley Cup playoffs, and it’s clear that they would not say no to a little help from some of the following players:

 

 

 

 

For the purpose of this fun exercise, Red Wings fans get (a hypothetical) 18$ to create what they believe is their ideal lineup based on some of the team’s all-time greats.

 

 

 

Here’s my personal take:

 

Zetterberg (3$) – Datsyuk (2$) – Hull (4$) = 9$

 

Lidstrom (5$) – Rafalski (1$) = 6$
