The Boston Bruins continue to lose players to injuries as forward Noel Acciari was forced out of the team's opening night win after he suffered an injury blocking a shot.

Unfortunately, it is nothing new to the 25-year-old who struggled with injuries last season. David Backes and Patrice Bergeron are also out with ailments, but Bergeron could potentially play over the weekend.

“I don’t know the exact extent, but we don’t anticipate having him in Monday. I suspect we will revisit the lineup in the morning. We will have to," coach Bruce Cassidy said of Acciari.

"We’ve lost Noel [Acciari] and [David] Backes for a little longer period of time. If Bergy is ready to go, then we’ll have our twelve. If not, then we’ll have to look at Providence.”

Hockey Feed will keep posted on Bruins' injuries.
