After Tampa Bay Lightning third overall draft pick of the 2013 draft, Jonathan Drouin's agent confirmed his client asked for a trade, the 19t pick overall of the same draft also asked for a trade, but at the beginning of the season.

Columbus Blue Jackets' Kerby Rychel has demanded a trade back in September, according to Aaron Potzline from the Columbus Dispatch. The young forward only played 16 games over the last two seasons and has yet to score his first NHL goal.

His agent and his father reportedly met with Blue Jackets' organization back at development camp. According to Potzline, Rychel's party asked why Kerby was so low on Columbu's depth chart and that's where the trade request was made. Unfortunately, the Blue Jackets aren't willing to trade him.

Potzline argues that many teams are in line to acquire Kerby Rychel from the Jackets;

  • Anaheim Ducks
  • Boston Bruins
  • Calgary Flames
  • Detroit Red Wings
  • Montreal Canadiens
  • New York Rangers
  • Toronto Maple Leafs

It will be interesting to see if him or Jonathan Drouin get traded before the trade deadline of before the start of the next season.
