Another journeyman forward chooses to go play overseas.

It's looking like a bit of an exodus.

In what is starting to become a bit of a trend, another journeyman forward has decided to depart overseas rather than remaining in the American Hockey League.

According to a report from NBC Sports Dustin Jeffrey has agreed to a new two year contract with Lausanne of the Swiss League. Jeffrey is a veteran of 120 National Hockey League games spread between the Dallas Stars, Arizona Coyotes and Pittsburgh Penguins.

Despite putting up impressive numbers during his American Hockey League career the now 28 year old forward never found a fit with an NHL roster, spending just 7 games in the big league's last season.

This decision is likely motivated by the fact that Jeffrey believes he was headed for another season spent in the AHL.
