A minor trade deal has been announced well after the deadline, although clearly the deal was put in place before 3 pm EST.

A report from Cap Friendly has revealed that the Chicago Blackhawks have acquired Kenton Helgesen, as well as a  2019 7th round pick from the Anaheim Ducks.The Ducks on the other hand will be receiving two players from the Blackhawks in forwards Sam Carrick and Spencer Abbott.

Carrick is the most notable player in what is largely an unremarkable deal, and has the more NHL experience than the other two men in the deal combined with 19 career NHL games under his belt.
