Brandon Prust has been offered a professional tryout contract by the Toronto Maple Leafs, according to TVA Spots.
The 32-year-old, not known for his scoring nor his passing abilities, could provide a team with a youth movement such as Toronto's some much-needed veteran leadership as well as filling in nicely on a fourth line.
Lou Lamoriello told Sportsnet: “There’s no risk on our side”.
