New York Rangers top forward Mika Zibanejad missed a third consecutive game on Tuesday, as his team faced the Pittsburgh Penguins, and fans are looking at any way possible to see some positive in his recovery.
The Blueshirts’ first-line center suffered a concussion that was triggered by a hit he sustained against Detroit on Nov. 24. While he was able to work out on the stationary bike at the club’s practice rink Monday, this is as good as it gets.
It has been revealed that Zibanejad did not travel with the team, meaning he remains out for the next game as well, against the Washington Capitals.
The Rangers are hoping that Zibanejad won’t be out long term with his concussion.
If he is, it could drastically affect their playoff chances...
Let's remain hopeful...
