Are McDavid and Draisaitl becoming the best duo in the NHL?

Ryan Kennedy of the Hockey News recently spoke to Edmonton Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl about the high expectations the club is receiving this year. In the interview, Draisaitl agrees that the expectations are high but that he believes that they have the right guys in the locker room to go far.

Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl are arguably one of the best offensive duos in the NHL and they are young, hungry and will not stop. Both of them are locked up with the team for many years and have really enjoy playing with each other.

“To be able to play with Leon for the next eight years – he’s a fun guy to play with,” McDavid said. “To have the pieces we do in Edmonton, it’s exciting.” McDavid on playing with Draisaitl.
