Even though he started skating again for the first time since November 14, Artturi Lehkonen admitted he went through tough times.

Right after his team's morning skate, the 22-year-old forward said in an interview that all the time he spent away from his teammates was starting to weigh on him.

Of course you miss the guys and you want to get involved with them and you want to help out the team and really give everything you've got for the team. It sucks being injured."

He also admitted that he had no other choice than to take time off the ice, since he was bothered by this lower-body injury for a while:

It was sort of like a nagging thing. It kept bugging me," said Lehkonen, on the injury that has kept him out of the lineup since November 14, forcing him to miss the last 13 games. "It wasn't getting better, so we decided [that it was better for me] to take time off."

The Finnish forward suited up in 18 games this year with the Habs. He scored two goals and three assists for five points.
