Details inside.
Colorado Avalanche d-man, Tyson Barrie has been suspended for three games by the NHL's safety committee for charging-interference on Anaheim Ducks defenseman Simon Despres.
According to the NHL, Tyson Barrie,5'10, jumped to hit Simon Despres,6'4, and make Despres' head a target.
Although Ducks' d-man couldn't return to ice and is likely to miss a couple of games with an upper-body injury, Barrie was only suspended three games.
Tyson Barrie has never been fined or suspended and that might have reduced his suspension.
