Babcock offers huge praise to Matthews!

Auston Matthews has been off to a blazing start for the Toronto Maple Leafs. With 6 goals and 4 assists in 7 games so far, the first overall pick leads his team in points, with 10.

Head coach Mike Babcock had great words for his superstar player.

You know when you're using fake words to describe how amazing a player is, that you have a pretty incredible talent on your hands.

The very idea that Matthews has added this other-worldly speed to his game makes him all that much scarier. After putting up an impressive 69 points in 82 games in 2016-17, the center looks poised to smash that record.
