Babcock vows to eliminate Leafs bad habit in offseason.

There's almost no denying the impact that head coach Mike Babcock has had on the Toronto Maple Leafs roster, and while the team is nowhere near being considered a contender at the moment, there's a much more positive vibe around the team this season.

Despite the fact that fans are feeling better about the direction of their squad, Babcock believes there are still improvements to be made, and over the week-end he vowed to use this offseason to remedy at least one of them. Babcock was asked about the team sticking up for one another, and while there has been improvement in that aspect as of late, Babcock clearly knows it can improve a great deal.

"Well, I think we're obviously going to look after that in the offseason, I can promise you that," said Babcock as per TSN's Mark Masters. "There'll be none of that fooling around going on. But, we're a group, obviously we don't have a lot of that now, but we'll get that fixed."

One of Babcock's major messages when joining the organization was changing the culture in Toronto, and it appears with the major changes to the roster that have been made thus far, Babcock's next step is reinforcing his culture in the next generation of Maple Leafs.
