Bad news regarding injury to Hawks star forward

Even thought the Hawks spanked the Leafs last night. Not all the news was good yesterday.

Coach Quenneville told the media that Marian Hossa will be out for about two weeks with a lower body injury. Hossa left the game on Saturday after being hip checked by Ducks defenseman Hampus Lindholm and did not return. He was placed on injured reserve Sunday.

Hossa might not be having the greatest season point wise compared to what he is used to, but he still remains a key part of the Hawks team. He is a great all round player and is just as good defensively as he is offensively. He currently sits at 496 goals on his career and would love to hit that 500 goal mark this season. Richard Panik replaced Hossa on the top line with Jonathan Toews and Andrew Shaw.
