Big trade rumors as team sends two scouts to Canucks game.

Big trade rumors are suddenly floating around the Vancouver Canucks.

The Arizona Coyotes, a team that most believe will be selling off assets prior to the trade deadline, have reportedly sent not one but a pair of scouts to tonight's match up between the Colorado Avalanche and the aforementioned Vancouver Canucks.

This comes just days after Canucks general manager Jim Benning admitted that he felt his organization was deep enough on the blue line to warrant trading defense for help on offense, a situation that would likely be very agreeable for the Coyotes.

It's been no secret that the Coyotes have been in talks regarding their center Martin Hanzal for some time now, and they reportedly even tried to trade forward Anthony Duclair prior to the start of the NHL season. If Jim Benning where to be looking for forwards to bolster his lineup both for the short and long-term, Arizona may be the organization to make a deal with.

Making this move even more interesting is the fact that the Coyotes play the Canucks Vancouver later in the week making one question why they simply didn't wait.
