The Pittsburgh Penguins made a splash earlier on Friday when they acquired centres Nick Bjugstad and Jared McCann from the Florida Panthers for Brassard and Riley Sheahan, along with a 2019 second-round pick and two fourth-round picks in June.

When head coach Mike Sullivan met with media members after practice, he revealed that both “en route” and expected to be in the lineup for tonight's game against the Ottawa Senators. However, the two newly acquired players weren't present at warmups and the Penguins' entourage started to worry about the roster.

The two newly acquired forwards made it to the game in the nick of time as Bjugstad and McCann walked out the tunnel during the national anthems. It's a good thing there was a Canadian and American, giving the two men time to awkwardly introduce themselves to their new teammates.

The commentators on TSN 5 joked that Bjugstad and McCann probably had to stretch during the cab ride from the airport. It remains to be seen how good the chemistry will be on the ice tonight, but it is still quite impressive to see that the new members of the Penguins made it on time!
