Blackhawks expected to sign another goaltender in offseason.

The Chicago Blackhawks have two seemingly solid options in between the pipes, but it appears the team is looking to add yet another.

According to a report from NBC Sports, the Blackhawks are on the verge of signing goaltender Lars Johansson who played for Frolunda HC of the Swedish Hockey League last season and performed extremely well while doing so. Johansson appeared in 37 games and over that stretch posted an impressive 1.74 goals against average and a .927 save percentage on his way to a 27-10 record in goal.

It's likely that Johansson will play for the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League although with him having yet to be signed there has been no official word in that regard, but it's likely safe to assume with both back up Scott Darling, and Corey Crawford still under contract next season.
