This would frustrate any goalie in the league.

Blackhawks Goalie Left Hanging
In Goal Magazine

Corey Crawford of the Chicago Blackhawks has been having a great start to the 2016-2017 NHL regular season.

Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the Blackhawks forwards and defense, who have been able to put up some decent points but are struggling tremendously with the penalty kill so far this season.

During last night's game versus the Calgary Flames Crawford made 35 saves on 37 shots on net for a fantastic night in goal.  However, the two goals that went in were during the power play for the opposing team. The game ended 3-2 for the Flames who won it in shootouts.

This season Crawford has let in 15 goals so far but only three of them have been at even strength. That means 12 goals have been scored during the power play for the opposing team on Crawford alone.

The Chicago Blackhawks still have plenty of time to adjust but they must take advantage of their greatest strengths by minimizing the amount of penalties given and to be less passive during the PK.

Let us hope their efforts prove true as the Chicago Blackhawks take on the New Jersey Devils this Friday at the Prudential Center at 7:30 p.m. (ET).
