Blackhawks lose one of their goalies
z

The Chicago Blackhawks will have to do without their number one goaltender for 2-3 weeks.

Corey Crawford underwent surgery for an appendectomy and will need the next few weeks to recover. This will definitely hurt the Hawks who currently sit 1st in the Western Conference. Crawford has been solid so far this season going 12-6-2 with a 2.27 GAA and a .927 save %. He was a big part as to why the Hawks are having such a great start to the season.

Scott Darling will be the number one guy in Chicago until Crawford is back. He lost today against the Philadelphia Flyers but has been someone the Hawks can rely on.
