Blackhawks make shocking, hard to understand trade.

As the Playoff run is now over, the NHL is backing into trading mode. Teams exchange assets to improve their mutual prospects for next year, plugging leaks along the way. 

However, the Blackhawks made a shocking trade today that left everyone scratching their heads. 

The trade just doesn't make sense. Darling has been with the Hawks for 3 seasons and maintained very decent stats. Just this year, he played 32 games, having a 2.38 GAA and a very decent .924 save percentage. In comparison, Corey Crawford has a 2.55 GAA and a .918 save percentage! 

Granted his contract was expired, but for a cheap 587,000$ a year he was in the Chicago roster. Receiving a 3rd pick in exchange is nothing less than a steal.
