Bloody ordeal for Blackhawks player.

Yesterday the Chicago Blackhawks took on the Calgary Flames for a chance at redemption since their loss in shootouts the last time they faced the Flames.

It was a magical night for the Blackhawks as everything went their way which lead to a big win for the Hawks ending the game with a final score of 5-1.

Tyler Motte of the Chicago Blackhawks was able to put in an amazing goal in the third period.  Unfortunately, Motte received a puck to the face while sitting on the bench and needed to have stitches placed in his lip then and there.  When asked how many stitches he received he replied saying "I couldn’t tell you. I couldn’t see them going in."

The rookie forward is going to be alright and he can skate but has to deal with a stitched upper lip for the next little while.
